Bio

Tom DeGennaro is a Senior Associate at Bagley & Rhody, P.C. Tom works primarily in the Estate & Trust Litigation department with Matt Ballard, one of the partners in the firm. Following law school, Tom clerked for two judges in the Circuit Court for Anne Arundel County, Maryland, Judge Donna Schaeffer and Judge Paul Harris (now retired). After clerking, Tom practiced family law for several years at a well-respected firm in Annapolis, Maryland.

Legal Experiences

Following law school, Tom clerked for two judges in the Circuit Court for Anne Arundel County, Maryland, Judge Donna Schaeffer and Judge Paul Harris (now retired). After clerking, Tom practiced family law for several years at a well-respected firm in Annapolis, Maryland. During that time, Tom decided to return to school to receive his LL.M. in Taxation and Certificate in Estate Planning, which led him to a tax controversy and business position with a small firm in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. Ultimately, he decided to return to litigation, and joined Bagley & Rhody in 2022, where he draws on his litigation experience and training in tax and estate planning from his LL.M. studies.
